What you’ll do:
- Contribute to the development, implementation and effective communication of the D&I strategy, including both long-term and short-term goals with measurable outcomes that are consistently monitored to ensure positive results.
- Earn trust across a range of levels and disciplines to establish yourself and the team as a trusted D&I subject matter expert.
- Identifies partners, and leverages relationships with key internal leaders and external organizations to enhance visibility and business results.
- Coaches, mentors, and leads Employee Resource Groups (ERG) leadership on developing and maintaining project plans, objectives, and schedules that support the overall D&I program objectives.
- Connect and inspire people to drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple groups with competing priorities.
- Collaborates across Electrolux Group employees to ensure alignment of D&I strategy and initiatives.
- Develops measurements to assess effectiveness of strategy and action plans.
- Partners with our People Centers of Excellence to incorporate practices and processes that embed diversity and inclusion into all aspects of the employee life cycle, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, mobility, retention, and engagement.
- Assists People & Communications teammates with external communications and community relations opportunities across our North America footprint.
- You have experience leading these efforts for hourly employees, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- You bring a passion for the business, D&I best practices, program management, the highest integrity and you are a strong influencer.
- You are knowledgeable of D&I industry benchmarks and leveraging best practices.
- You are highly collaborative with ability to operate in a matrixed environment.
- You can contribute to the building of a D&I strategy. You have a deep understanding of different cultures, perspectives, experiences, and identities and awareness of social issues related to D&I and are familiar with employment regulations, HR best practices, legal and compliance matters relative to D&I.
- You plan and organize your workload with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
- You have a “can do attitude” and can demonstrate a history of driving for higher business performance through a process-minded attitude.
- You are a doer with a strong work ethic and inspire the same in others.
- You build strong partnerships with the business and effectively collaborate with others to drive results.
This position will be based at our North American Headquarters in Charlotte, NC.
