Job Description

I'm hiring on behalf of my company, Huntly, we're hiring for a Mobile Engineer Android position, for one of our clients.

They are an early-stage technology company currently in stealth mode and looking for engineering talent to build up their local team, and seeking an experienced mobile developer to focus on delivering our mobile application to beta and public launch. Candidates should be available for on-site engagement in the Venice, Los Angeles CA, office.

Salary Range:
   US$60,000 - US$120,000 annual
Requirements:

● You are passionate about creating beautiful, engaging experiences.
● You have a track record of shipping consumer facing apps and products.
● You have experience launching apps within the Google Play ecosystem.
● You have experience identifying and resolving root causes of reported issues for
in-development apps and products
● You have 3+ years of mobile software development experience, with 2+ of those years
in native Android
● Desired: Extensive experience with custom keyboard development in Android
● Knowledgeable of mobile technology tools and processes especially testing and issue
management with a track record for delivering high quality mobile applications

Responsibilities

● Development of new product features for and maintenance of the Android mobile
application
● Management of the mobile application release process
● Communicate effectively
● Participation in the engineering on-call rotation
● Contribute to an engineering culture of continual improvement including testing,
monitoring, and operations
